THE DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE OF A SIMULATOR

During the period of cancelled motor racing and measures due to the spread of COVID-19, a customer approached us with a request to produce a simulator for virtual training in motor racing (a car cockpit). The client wanted the equipment for driver training in a race car to be adjustable and for it to be suitable for use by adults and children. He had high demands regarding stability and structural strength.

One of the first steps of the implementation was the design of the product using 3D programs, where we gradually simulated the different dimensions of the structure with respect to the different age categories of the users of the simulator and the different positions of the drivers.

The next phase was the production of the simulator itself. With the help of our diverse and high-quality equipment, the workshop personnel followed the production drawings. After its complete assembly, the simulator was tested and then disassembled before being prepared for surface treatment. This was applied by powder spraying and subsequent firing for several hours, resulting in a perfect and lasting surface for the long life of the simulator.

The results of this project were a tailor-made simulator, an enthusiastic customer, and a satisfied team of designers, constructors, and workshop personnel who had gained new experience in this individual project and fulfilled the main credo of the company: “We give form to your ideas.”

A mould for the production of a water meter shaft

The production of large-format moulds for precast concrete element is not a problem for us thanks to our professional design and construction department and thanks to our workshop personnel, who have many years of experience in the field of mechanical engineering. One such mould was a precast concrete mould, which was to be used for the production of a concrete water meter shaft with a spout measuring 100 cm x 100 cm x 180 cm.

The client submitting this order wanted the mould, despite it being large-format, to be moulded together with the core immediately after casting. After placing the mould on another substrate, the process is then repeated without delay. The advantage of such a mould is high efficiency and economic savings, as the shaft is repeatedly cast without the use of other moulds.

We managed to fulfil the client’s idea, and the mould works flawlessly. We are pleased that the company’s credo,“We give form to your ideas,” became a reality. If you are interested in typical or atypical moulds for cast concrete, please contact us.

The expansion of storage space

Storage space management plays an important role in our company. It is a part of the smooth transfer of material into production and takes care of work in progress and finished products; it is therefore part of the logistics chain. The important role of storage is also related to the possibility of stockpiling raw materials, semi-finished products, and components.

The growing volume and types of production brought a requirement to develop additional storage facilities, so we recently built a new closed warehouse. Despite being a separate building, the location of the warehouse is in close proximity to the production halls as a prerequisite for the seamless flow of production.
